McKENZIE (March 3) — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Memphis has issued a Wind Advisory for Benton, Carroll, and Henry Counties, effective from 6 am CST Tuesday, March 4, 2025, to 6 pm CST Wednesday, March 5, 2025. ​

Forecast Details:
Winds: Southwest winds are expected to range from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph.​

Impacts: Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, potentially causing tree limbs to fall and resulting in isolated power outages. Driving conditions could become challenging, especially for high-profile vehicles; motorists are advised to exercise extra caution.​

Severe Weather Outlook:
In addition to the Wind Advisory, there is a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms in the region, including Benton, Carroll, and Henry Counties, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. These storms may produce damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes. ​
