Sheriff’s Office, Dispatchers Participate in Toys for Tots
From the Nov 20, 2018 e-EditionPlease join the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department and the United States Marine Corp. this year to help make a Christmas wish come true for the less fortunate children of Carroll County by donating an unwrapped toy or by giving a monetary donation to the Carroll County Toys for Tots campaign.
Monetary donations may be dropped off or mailed to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department,
Attention Jamie Summers or Becky Keith, 200 Norandal Dr., Huntingdon, TN 38344, or you may go online to toysfortots.org.
The toy donations will be collected at the Carroll County Sheriff Department and Carroll County Sheriff Department Communication Center.
Toys for Tots applications for children ages 0-14 years old can be picked up at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department Communication Center at 210 Norandal Dr., Huntingdon, TN 38344. Applications must be turned in no later than November 30.

Ribbon Cutting Held for Mulberry Park Soccer Complex
McKENZIE (September 12) — The City of McKenzie held a ribbon cutting on Saturday, September 12 for the new soccer complex at Mulberry Park in McKenzie. Early morning saw several soccer matches on the new fields. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place at noon with several city officials and community members present.
