Drug Violation — According to a report made by Deputy Jeremy Smith on June 14, he observed a Jeep being driven by Amanda Townsend, 43, of Medina. He had suspected she had a suspended driver’s license, which she did. Ms. Townsend consented to search of the vehicle which led deputies to find .9 grams of methamphetamine, a pipe, and a grinder with a green leafy substance, and a small glass jar with meth residue. She was then placed under arrest and transported to Carroll County jail to be booked for Possession of Schedule II drugs, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Driving on Suspended License.

Public Intoxication — According to a report by Deputy Lucas Coleman on June 15, the Carroll County Sheriff’s office received a call about a disorderly person, Rodger Lawson, 35, of Trezevant, beating on her front door with a metal pipe. She said she had asked him several times to leave her property, and he refused to leave, but when deputies had arrived, she advised that Rodger had gone back to his trailer. Deputies contacted Lawson, who appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance. He was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Public Intoxication.

Public Intoxication; Vandalism — According to a report by Deputy Alex Sherwood on June 16, Deputy Sherwood was dispatched to the area of Hwy. 70 and Fry Road in Cedar Grove in reference to a male subject walking in the middle of the road, possibly trying to get hit by cars. While en route, dispatch advised a passerby who tried to stop and help the individual, William Hollowell, 42, of Huntingdon, and William hit the vehicle’s driver’s side mirror causing damage. After Sherwood arrived, William was not very responsive and was mumbling. He advised that he had smoked meth earlier.

Possession of Schedule VI — According to a report by Deputy Alex Sherwood on June 16, Deputy Sherwood conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain lane in Bruceton. The driver, Nicholas Farmer, 41, of Bruceton, appeared very nervous and was visibly shaking. Deputy Sherwood asked Nicholas to step out of the vehicle and inside his shoe was .7 grams of meth. He was also in possession of a MAC oil THC vape that tested positive for THC at about 0.3%
