Huntingdon Stockyard Under New Ownership
From the Dec 30, 2025 e-Edition
A staple in the agricultural community of Huntingdon and surrounding areas, the Southwestern Stockyard is welcoming new faces and receiving a new name.
The sale barn has been purchased by Dickson Regional Livestock West, and the farmer-owned group will take over in January of 2026.
The new owners are eager to bring a revitalized, competitive market to the area and look forward to serving the hard-working cattlemen and women who buy and sell their cattle with Dickson West.
The barn is located at 21860 East Main Street, Huntingdon, TN 38344, with regular sales on Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
For further inquiries, please contact Carter Cary (931-289-9134) or Robert Parchman (931-801-2212).
