Downtown Stop Sign Struck by Driver

McKENZIE (January 6) — Just after noon on Monday, a driver preparing to turn right from Broadway onto Cedar Street struck and upended the stop sign located where the crosswalk meets the striped area next to a handicap parking spot. According to an eyewitness, a woman in a dark red SUV struck the sign, exited the vehicle to assess the situation, made a phone call and then left the scene shortly after.
