Summer Program Unearths Fun

McKENZIE — McKenzie Memorial Library’s “Unearth a Story” summer reading program continued June 5-8 with “Adopt a Dino,” “Stone Age” and “Tales at 10” events.
“Adopt a Dino” invited library patrons to a dinosaur hunt. Ten little dinosaurs were hidden amongst the many books at McKenzie Memorial Library, waiting to be found and adopted.
“Stone Age” on June 6 invited children and guardians alike to put their creativity to the test and paint small stones.
During “Tales at 10,” McKenzie Memorial Library’s librarians read dinosaur tales to visiting children.
Upcoming events include “Blooming Poems” at 2 p.m. June 9; “Dapper Dinos” all day Thursday, June 11; “Minecraft Archaeology” all day Saturday, June 13 and “Tales at Ten” at 10 a.m. Monday, June 15.
McKenzie Memorial Library is located at 15 Broadway Street, McKenzie, Tenn. It is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
