Overturned Tanker Blocks Highway

McKENZIE (APRIL 2) — An overturned tanker loaded with herbicide blocked U.S. 79 on Tuesday evening.
According to a very limited report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the 2015 Freightliner was driven by Darryl Donnell Huggins, Jr., 45, of Baton Rouge. He was traveling north on State Route 22 exit ramp when it overturned on the ramp to U.S. 79
McKenzie Fire/Rescue, McKenzie Police Department, and Tennessee Highway Patrol responded and remained on the scene until the truck was uprighted and removed from the roadway.
