Tate Recognized During Men’s Focus Month
From the Jul 22, 2025 e-EditionMarkee Tate, a Huntingdon High School and Middle Tennessee State University alum, received a spotlight from the Cascade Business Merchant Association (CascadeBMA) for Men’s Focus Month for his leadership, dedication and business achievements. CascadeBMA promotes the growth and development of businesses in the Cascade Road community in Atlanta.
Tate, son of Huntingdon’s Michael Tate, is chair of the Governing Board for both the Atlanta Black Chambers, Inc. and chair/president for Advancing Black Businesses, Inc.
Tate advocates for the establishment and expansion of competitive, profitable and sustainable black-owned enterprises. His strategic vision drives the development of educational programs, creation of business opportunities and formulation of public policy initiatives — all aimed at fostering growth for black businesses and enhancing value for black customers.
Additionally, Tate served as the president and CEO of the Atlanta Black Chambers from 2016-22.
Tate is principal and managing partner at Tilcam Services Group LLC, a seasoned tax preparation, accounting and insurance product company with offices in Georgia and Tennessee.
