From the Sep 16, 2025 e-EditionGLEASON, Tenn. — On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Teresa Pat Blassingame Ross, age 67, of Gleason died while surrounded by the love and presence of her family. She was born on April 4, 1958, to parents, Laymon and Pat Blassingame, of Gleason.
Teresa and her husband of 50 years, Steve Ross, were high school sweethearts. They were married on March 7, 1975, and built a life together in the same community in which they were raised, which included their three children and six grandchildren, whom they love and cherish dearly.
At age 17, Teresa began working in the accounting business, which quickly became her lifelong career. She loved serving her clients and meeting the needs of others, as she was best known for her kindness and compassion. Teresa was also a valued member of New Valley Methodist Church in Gleason for many years.
Teresa is survived by her children, Chad, Casey (Erica), and Jenny (Kurt), and her grandchildren, Craig, Drake, Brinley, Deacon, Aniston, and Ashton. She is also survived by her siblings, Tina, Shane, and Shawn, and Steve’s siblings, Marcia (Kerry) and Kathy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home in Gleason on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial service will immediately follow at New Valley Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home of Gleason.
