THP Checkpoint Dates Across West Tennessee
From the Jun 9, 2026 e-EditionThe Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) has announced multiple sobriety, driver license and safety belt checkpoints throughout Jackson District this June.
Local Checkpoint Dates:
• 6/12 – Decatur County (SR 100) – Sobriety
• 6/12 – Gibson County (US 45W) – Seatbelt
• 6/14 – McNairy County (SR 57) – Driver License
• 6/19 – Carroll County (US 79) – Sobriety
• 6/19 – Hardin County (SR 69) – Sobriety
• 6/19 – Obion County (SR 214) – Sobriety
• 6/20 – Henry County (US 79) – Sobriety
These checkpoints are aimed at reducing impaired driving and keeping roadways safe, according to THP. Officers will watch for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, along with other violations.
Impaired driving remains a serious issue nationwide, causing thousands of deaths and injuries each year.
