THP Promotes Henry County Native

NASHVILLE (April 22) — Jason Mounts of Henry County has been promoted to Sergeant in the Capitol Protection Unit of the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Mounts grew up in Paris and previously worked for the THP in the Henry County area before moving to the Capitol Protection Unit in Nashville. Prior to that, he was a patrolman for the Paris Police Department. The announcement of his promotion was made by Colonel Matt Perry.
