tnAchieves Prosperity Tour Visits Carroll County

McKENZIE — The tnAchieves Prosperity Tour visited Carroll County this morning as it continues its statewide tour celebrating communities across Tennessee that are making a meaningful difference in the lives and futures of students. A special thank-you goes to TCAT Henry-Carroll for graciously hosting this morning’s event and bringing together school leaders, business partners, and local government officials to celebrate the accomplishments of Carroll County students.

During the event, Tyler Ford, Vice President of Workforce for tnAchieves, presented Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler with an award recognizing “the mentors and communities that go above and beyond to ensure Tennessee students have a pathway to economic prosperity.” Mr. Ford highlighted the impressive growth in Carroll County’s three-year graduation rate, noting the positive progress demonstrated by students across each of the county’s high schools. He also recognized that high schools throughout Carroll County have exceeded Tennessee’s statewide FAFSA completion rate, further demonstrating the commitment of schools and community partners to helping students prepare for success beyond high school.

For two decades, tnAchieves has helped Tennessee students navigate the journey from high school to college, career and technical education, and ultimately into the workforce. Today’s recognition is a wonderful reminder of what can happen when students, educators, families, businesses, and community leaders work together toward a shared vision of student success.
