Tommie L. Tedford

BRUCETON, Tenn. — Mrs. Tommie L. Tedford, 76, of Bruceton, died Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, February 27, at the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.

The family will receive friends in the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 26, and again on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Mrs. Tedford was born July 9, 1949, in Hollow Rock, Tenn. to the late Lonnie Lankford and Marie Redden Lankford. She was a member of the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a self-employed beautician for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Mr. Wayne Tedford, a daughter, Joanna (Johnathan) Crutcher of Bruceton, a son, Johnathan (Sharon) Tedford of Hollow Rock, a brother, Charles (Carolyn) Lankford of Hollow Rock, five sisters, Tonia Hollingsworth, Bette McKelvy both of Bruceton, Sue Arnold of Camden, Wanda Hollingsworth of Hollow Rock, and Lynn (Jeff) Kloek of Memphis. She also leaves four grandchildren, Andrew Tedford, Raegan Tedford, Greyson Crutcher, and Dakota Crutcher, one great grandson, Daniel Crutcher.
