From the Feb 18, 2025 e-EditionJACKSON, Tenn. - Mrs. Trannie Elizabeth Woodson, 86, of Jackson, Tennessee, died Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were Thursday, February 13, 2025 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Osborne officiating the service. Burial was in Marlowe Cemetery in Fruitvale
Mrs. Ball was born July 4, 1938 in Crockett County, Tennessee to the late James Thomas Woodson Sr. and Theadora Elizabeth (Burrow) Woodson. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a retired Director of Health Information for Henry County Medical Center.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Cleveland Ball, a sister, Ruth Kelly and a brother, James Woodson Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Locker of Nolensville, a stepdaughter, Susan Ashley Mattin (John) of Frankfort, Kentucky, two sons, Paul Blenis II of Jackson and John Blenis of Greenfield, a step son Clyde Ball (Lori) of Portland, Oregon, a brother, Dwayne M. Woodson (Carole) of McKenzie, Tennessee, seventeen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
