TSWA Names Spring 2024 All-State Teams

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Sports Writers Association recently announced its Spring 2024 All-State teams. Several local high school athletes earned honors.

Named to the Class 1A All-State Baseball team is McKenzie’s Tate Surber, a junior pitcher.

Named to the Class 2A All-State Baseball team are three Huntingdon juniors: infielders Gray Eubanks and Braylon Rich and pitcher Easton Byars; Camden senior infielder Trey Dooley; and Milan junior outfielder Colin Milligan.

Named to the Class 1A All-State Softball team is Dresden senior pitcher Eva Stafford.

Named to the Class 2A All-State Softball team are three Westview players: senior catcher Addie Roberts, senior infielder Lakyn Rogers and junior pitcher McCall Sims.

Named to the Class A All-State Soccer team is Milan junior defender Josh Gonzalez.

Named to the Class A All-State Boys Track and Field team are Huntingdon senior Tycen Willis (Discus), Camden junior Pete Douglas (3200 meters) and Westview sophomore Jack Mantooth (3200 meters).

Named to the Class A All-State Girls Track and Field team is Milan junior Raven Milan (Long Jump).
