United Neighbors Seeks Winter Clothing, Food Donations

McKENZIE (November 19) — McKenzie-Carroll County United Neighbors is asking for donations of winter coats and clothes, canned ravioli, canned meat, oatmeal, Pop-Tarts and similar breakfast foods at this time. Employees request that people bring in their donations during open hours.
The thrift shop and donation center, located at 2455 Cedar Street in McKenzie, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9 a.m. until noon on Wednesdays. The shop is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Those in need of food assistance need only bring their valid paperwork to the cashier, who will help set them up with donated items.
United Neighbors also has a free food shelf standing to the side of the cashier counter, near the entrance. Anyone may take up to four items of food per visit.
