VFW Post 4939 Honors Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen Winners

McKENZIE (January 16) — Winners of VFW Post 4939’s annual Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen speech contests were honored at the post Thursday.
Madelyn Morris won first place in the Voice of Democracy contest. Second place was Brody Berryhill, and Tobey Brooks earned third.
Lauren Burleson won first place in the Patriot’s Pen contest. Second place was Mary Ryan Morris, and Leighem Broyles earned third.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items.
