From the May 26, 2026 e-EditionHOLLOW ROCK, Tenn. — Mrs. Virginia Lee Dillon, 84, of Hollow Rock died Tuesday, May 19, at her home.
Funeral services are at noon on Saturday, May 23, in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Virginia was born on September 10, 1941, in Jackson, Tenn. to the late David L. Murchison and Hester F. (Roberts) Ratliff. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Charles Lynn Dillon, a sister, Johnnie R. Wade, and two nephews.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Cathey (Mike) of Hollow Rock, two granddaughters, Tiffany Cathey Johnson (Doug) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Brandi Powell (Derrick) of Humboldt, TN, three great-grandchildren, Declan Johnson, Cameron Johnson, and Emma Cathey. She also leaves a niece, Sheila Greene.
