From the Jan 6, 2026 e-EditionMcKENZIE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Virginia Mae Hinrichs are on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Long Heights Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinrichs, 91, died at her home on December 31, 2025. She was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church and retired from Stauffer Cheese Co., Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. She was born on May 5, 1934, in Lynde, Illinois, to Christian and Hattie Johnson Hildebrand.
She is survived by her sons, Kraig (Rutchel) Hinrichs of McKenzie, Kevin (Connie) Hinrichs of High Rolls, New Mexico, and Kent Hinrichs, Alamogordo, New Mexico; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Hinrichs; a daughter, Kay Hankins; a son, Kurt Hinrichs; two sisters, Esther Fischer and Helen Hartman; and two brothers, Robert Hildebrand and John Hildebrand.
