West Carroll Beta Initiates School Cleanup
From the Sep 17, 2024 e-Edition
West Carroll Junior Senior Beta Club has implemented a new initiative focused on keeping the school and its surrounding grounds clean. As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to earn service hours while contributing to the cleanliness of the campus. This initiative not only aligns with the core values of the Beta Club but also fosters a spirit of service and responsibility among the students.
Principal Dr. Adam Douglas expressed his gratitude for the Beta Club’s efforts. “It takes a village, and our Beta Club always steps up where needed. They truly embody the pillars of Beta and are a positive force within our school,” Dr. Douglas said. He also extended thanks to the sponsors and community stakeholders who continually support the Beta Club’s mission and projects.
The new program reflects the school’s commitment to both academic excellence and character development, allowing students to make a tangible difference in their immediate environment. Beta Club members are expected to lead by example, showing their peers the importance of community service and stewardship. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to involve students in hands-on activities that not only benefit the school but also instill a sense of pride and ownership.
