Fourth-grader Eli Joyner was named the Week 16 SOAR student. Mrs. Nikki Gilley, Eli’s teacher, shared high praise for his exemplary behavior and work ethic. She stated, “Eli goes above and beyond our expectations. He follows all rules and procedures, is well-mannered, and willingly helps both students and teachers. Eli works diligently, uses text evidence to support his answers, and takes his assignments seriously while maintaining a great sense of humor. He is a fantastic role model and a true pleasure to have in class.”

Fifth-grader Kinley Box was honored with the SOAR Award for both Weeks 15 and 16. Her fifth-grade teachers commended her positive attitude and strong character.
