West Carroll Primary Students Learn About Blood Drives
From the Apr 28, 2026 e-Edition
McLEMORESVILLE (April 23) — West Carroll Primary teased its upcoming blood drive Thursday with a special visit from Sherrona Taylor from Lifeline Blood Services. She shared important facts with students, explaining that one pint of blood is equal to two school milk cartons and that one pint of blood can save three people’s lives.
Taylor encouraged students to invite their families to participate in the school’s upcoming blood drive on Wednesday, April 29. The drive is from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at West Carroll Primary.
West Carroll Primary set a goal of collecting 20 total pints of blood in the blood drive. The student who brings the most donors will receive a $25 gift card, and the classroom with the most donors will celebrate with a pizza party.
