Webb Alumni Association Elects New President, Officers

McKENZIE (August 31) — Members of the Webb Alumni Association met at the historic Webb School Saturday to elect leadership for the coming years. The gathering comes as the organization celebrates its 55th annual Labor Day weekend Homecoming.
Ike Gilbert was elected national president, his second tenure in that position. He replaces Neal Williamson, who served as president for the past eight years. Williamson retains the role of West Carroll Chapter president.
Other new officers are: Michael Tate, first vice president; Rosetta Clark, national secretary; Scottie Clark, treasurer; Kim Webb, financial secretary; Joyce Pate, budget committee; Gloria Harris, assistant secretary; Rosella Glenn, assistant financial secretary; Priscilla Williamson, local board chair; and Mary Jordan, historical museum director. Executive board officers serve four-year terms.
Other new chapter presidents are: Brenda Smith, McKenzie; Ike Gilbert, Huntingdon; Ernest Fitzgerald, Nashville; Annie Alexander, Milwaulkee; Peggy Hillsman, Cedar Rapids; Ruby Hunt, Champaign; and Booker Bolton, Chicago.
