From the Jul 14, 2026 e-Edition
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (June 29–July 2) — West Carroll High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter recently represented Tennessee at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Representing West Carroll were Jack Robinson and Caleb Vermillion, who joined thousands of FBLA members from across the country in attending leadership workshops, networking with students and business professionals, and participating in conference activities designed to prepare students for future careers.
During the conference, the West Carroll High School FBLA chapter received national recognition as a Silver Level Champion Chapter. The Champion Chapter program recognizes chapters that demonstrate excellence in leadership development, service, membership growth and chapter engagement throughout the school year.
“This recognition is the result of a full year’s worth of hard work from our entire chapter,” said FBLA adviser Erin Lewis. “While Jack and Caleb represented us in San Antonio, this achievement belongs to every West Carroll FBLA member, along with the many people who support our program. From our administration, school board, CTE director, bookkeepers, teachers and parents to our local businesses and community partners, we are grateful for the encouragement and support that made this achievement possible, and I am so proud of this group of students.”
The Silver Champion Chapter recognition highlights the commitment of West Carroll FBLA members to leadership, service and career readiness. Throughout the year, members participated in community service projects, leadership conferences, competitive events and chapter activities that helped earn the chapter this national distinction.
West Carroll High School congratulates Jack Robinson, Caleb Vermillion and the entire 2025-2026 FBLA chapter on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to another successful year of developing future business leaders.
