BRUCETON, Tenn. — Mr. William Charles Kortvely Jr, 66, of Bruceton died Monday, September 7, 2026, at his home.
Funeral service are at 1 p.m.. Friday, September 11, in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Ragsdale officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Mansfield.
The Family will receive friends in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
William was born March 22, 1960, in Bruceton, Tenn. to the late William Charles Kortvely, Sr. and Maxine Elizabeth Kee Kortvely. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Kortvely and Karen Morello.
He survived by his wife, Penny Kortvely, a daughter, April Searatt, two step-daughters, Paula Holmes and Paige Mattison (Cory), a sister, Joan Walter (Brian), three grandchildren, Kylar Searatt (Summer), Kaylea Searatt, and Kynzlee Searatt, also leaves two great grandchildren, Kash Searatt and Indy Searatt.
