Wingo Resident Complains About Train Blocking Street
From the May 20, 2025 e-Edition
Wingo Circle resident Bertha Taylor phoned The Banner to issue a complaint about the CSX train blocking both entrances to the neighborhood of Wingo Circle one day last week.
Mrs. Taylor said the roadways were both blocked by a CSX train that was parked in the railroad crossing from 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. She said there are 30 houses on the street and no one could drive in or out of the neighborhood. Taylor said it concerns the residents because there are some people who have sick family members. She said she contacted CSX without immediate relief.
