Dresden’s Winn Signs with Rams
From the Jul 29, 2025 e-Edition
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (July 21) — Dresser Winn, a football standout and 2017 graduate of Dresden High School, signed with the Los Angeles Rams Monday.
The quarterback, who won the Class A Mr. Football Award in 2015 and led Dresden to a state championship in 2016, returns to Los Angeles for the third time in his professional career.
Winn, 26, was first signed by the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2023.
After he was waived by the NFL team in August that year, he spent several months on the practice squad for the Canadian Football League’s Edmonton Elks.
Winn signed again with the Rams in January 2024 on a reserve/future contract and was again waived in August.
This spring, Winn played for the United Football League’s Memphis Showboats, starting four games and passing for 834 yards with three touchdowns. He also rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown.
