McKenzie Youth Soccer Kicks Off Season

McKENZIE (April 6) — On Saturday morning, despite cool temperatures, the McKenzie Youth Soccer League kicked off its season. With a full day packed of matches, players, parents, grandparents, fans and food trucks filled the fields adjacent to McKenzie Middle School. The four age groups, 3 to 4, 5 to 7, 8 to 10 and 11 to 14 were excited to start the season.
The opening day had each team playing a double header of the six game regular season. May 11 starts the post season tournaments with the season’s closing ceremonies scheduled for May 14.

GLEASON (August 13) — Gleason Junior High opened their football season at home Thursday against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central. The visiting Tigers controlled the game throughout, cruising to a 34-0 win.
