McKenzie Memorial Day Program The speaker is Reverend Garrett Burns, a reserve chaplain with the U.S. Navy. Traditionally, veterans place a wreath at the War Memorial in Veterans Park, downtown McKenzie. Placing the wreath is Dana Deem, retired Air Force representing the American Legion and Steve Davis, VFW Post 4939 commander, U.S. Army retired. more

McKENZIE (May 15) — The McKenzie Rebel High School Baseball team played the Richland Raiders in a double header for a shot at the TSSAA State Championship Tournament. In a best out of three format, the Rebels were able to two from the Raiders to advance to championship series. more
HUNTINGDON (May 17) — On Friday, the Huntingdon Fillies defeated the Summertown Lady Eagles 2-0 in the sectional series. The Fillies advance to TSSAA State Softball Championship Series. more
HUNTINGDON (May 16) — The Huntingdon Mustangs knocked out the Summertown Eagles two straight games in the best of three series in the sectional round to advance to the TSSAA State Baseball Championship Series. The Mustangs took game one, 1-0, and game two, 5-2. more
