The Inglenook Book Club met Wednesday, November 9, at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie with 19 members present. Hostesses were Beverly Mueller and Pedie Petersen who served delicious apple dumplings along with assorted homemade cookies, mixed nuts and assorted beverages. President Carolyn Moore called the meeting to order and expressed appreciation to the hostesses for the delicious food and to Donna Ward for arranging with the church to meet. She also thanked Victoria Ard who graciously called all members twice to remind them of the meeting and change of location.

The Pharmacy Podcast Network (PPN) announced the winners of the 2023, 50 Most Influential Leaders in Pharmacy. Dr. Jay Phipps claimed the #2 spot. According to PPN, one of the reasons Dr. Phipps was selected was his role as the immediate past president of the Tennessee Pharmacist Association’s major Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) reform.

The Education Series takes center stage at The Dixie to deliver a unique learning experience for students of all ages. This series allows students to learn about science, history, and many other subjects through the theater arts performed on stage. The shows encourage students to engage in learning activities outside of the classroom. The performances will begin October 7, 2022, and run through May 3, 2023, with seven marvelous shows!
