Carroll County Graduation Ceremonies Held

Hats Off to Class of 2024

CARROLL COUNTY — The weekend was filled with high school graduations in Carroll County from the five county high schools. The events began Friday, May 10 with graduations at Clarksburg and West Carroll, Saturday at Huntingdon, and Sunday at McKenzie and Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central.

West Carroll graduated 59 during commencement exercises in the gymnasium on Friday, May 10.

Speeches were given by Morgan Reynolds, class president, Aiden Hatcher, salutatorian, and Olivia Arnold, valedictorian.

South Carroll-Clarksburg graduated 26 on Friday, May 10 in the school’s gymnasium. The historian was Maggie Berry, the salutatorian was William Woods and the valedictorian was Chloe Crum.

Huntingdon graduated 97 on Saturday, May 10 at Paul Ward Stadium. The class president was Kelby Crossno, the salutatorian was Lillian Kee and the valedictorian was Paridhi Patel. The symbolic passing of the torch was from Kelby Crossno, president of the Class of 2024 to Claire Cary, president of the Class of 2025.

McKenzie graduated 91 in Sunday, May 11 ceremonies inside the MHS gymnasium. The welcome address was given by Jackelyne Padilla. Ava Mae Warman presented the salutatorian address and Allie Mansfield gave the valedictory address.

Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central graduated 42 in commencement ceremony on the football field. The class president was Abby Quinn, Valedictorian was Mykenzie Burton, and Salutatorian was Addison Hampton.
