Jonathan Kee Honored by Tennessee Music Teachers
From the Apr 23, 2024 e-Edition
Dr. Jonathan Kee, director of schools with the Huntingdon Special School District, was honored as the Tennessee Music Educator Association’s Outstanding District Administrator of the Year.
Huntingdon High School posted the following statement:
He knows the value of quality over quantity. He backs his educators’ decisions and always takes the time to come and say hi to our students whether it is by stopping by the classroom, game, or concert. He does this often and makes it a point to converse with the students about their performance and school life. He understands the value and importance of music education in a student’s life and advocates for students to participate in the music/arts program in the Huntingdon School System.
Dr. Kee is always one of the first to help and never leaves without asking “Is there anything I can do or help you with?”
Supporting the arts is a high priority on his list.
