TCAT Graduation is Wednesday

McKENZIE — Wednesday, December 18 is the date set for the McKenzie Branch TCAT Henry/Carroll Class of 2024 Fall Graduation. Commencement exercises begin at 1 p.m. at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 16835 Highland Drive, McKenzie. The keynote speaker is Ms. Leslie Henegar, executive director for the Paris- Henry County Chamber of Commerce.

The McKenzie Branch Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll offers seven full-time technical programs and serves Benton, Carroll, Gibson, Henry and Weakley counties. For additional information about graduation or the College’s programs, call (731) 352-5364.

Leslie Henegar is the executive director for the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management & Organizational Development and a master’s degree in Management & Marketing, underpinned by a diverse professional career spanning business, marketing, and administration.

Leslie has held positions in human resource management, business operations, budgeting and financial planning, customer service and sales, marketing and social media management, and event planning. While working in higher education, she served as college faculty for marketing and business courses, developed curriculum and academic programs, and held administrative roles such as College Registrar, Director of Operations, and Learning Services Support.

A lifelong resident of Henry County and a first-generation college graduate, Leslie values hard work, mentorship, and making a positive impact in her community. She believes in investing in others to help them achieve their goals and truly strives to leave the world better than she found it.

Leslie and her husband, Keith, reside in Springville and are parents of three children – Austin, Haleigh, and Hannah.

In her free time, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors exploring God’s beautiful creation.
