McKENZIE (December 9) — On Saturday, Hometown Health Clinic hosted the free community event “A Very Merry Hometown Christmas” and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the opening of its newly renovated pediatric center. Theft of Property — On September 18, Bobby Mann stated he placed his vehicle at the intersection of Highway 219 and Northwood Dr. on September 14 to be displayed for sale. Mr. Mann returned the vehicle back to his residence on September 17. Mr. Mann also stated that on September 18, when he returned home after church, he noticed that the license plate was missing from the vehicle. more

MURFREESBORO (March 13) — Kylie Reynolds of McKenzie is one of two finalists for the Class 1A, Division I Miss Basketball 2022-23. She has committed to play collegiate ball at Bethel University. Kylie and her sister, Mikaela are both starters for the Lady Rebels and helped the team earn the Class 1A basketball championship in Murfreesboro in March 2022 and 2023. She averaged 16.6 points per game during her 2022-23 season. Kylie is the daughter of Stephanie McClerkin and the late Roscoe McClerkin. more
