Violation of Order of Protection — According to a report made by Deputy Sean Bongiovanni on August 13, deputies were dispatched to a home on Jessie Lane in reference to an order of protection being violated.

Domestic Assault — According to a report made on August 3, 2024, by Officer Malachi Arline, officers responded to the Huntingdon Police Department in reference to a domestic assault Upon arrival, officers talked to the victim, April Hester, who stated that she was assaulted by the father of her children, Reginald Gordon, 45, of Huntingdon. According to Hester’s statement, her and Reginald were in a vehicle traveling down Lexington Street when there was a verbal altercation and Gordon hit the victim on the right side of her face with his fist. Ms. Hester had visible signs on her face of being hit. At approximately 10:30 p.m., Sgt Parham and officer Arline placed Reginald Gordon under arrest for domestic assault.

Theft From Building — On August 1, Deputy Grant Davis responded to a residence on Cotton Creek Rd. in Bruceton in reference to a stolen lawn mower. The complainant, Christy Lubben stated that on July 31, a man was at the residence and appeared under the influence while there.

Active Warrant — Seth Andrew Cannon, 34, College Street, Gleason, was arrested on July 29 after an off-duty officer witnessed him as a passenger in a car and knew there was an outstanding warrant for him.

Report of Domestic Assault — On July 14, 2024, Carroll County deputies were dispatched to a Highway 70 address in regard to a domestic assault. Deputy Bongiovanni, Sgt. Michael Smith, Cpl. Chance Townes, Deputy Dakota Meier, and Deputy Christopher Hamer went to the scene.

Report of Traffic Violation — On July 12, 2024, at approximately 9:10 a.m., Deputy Grant Davis observed a black Chevy Silverado traveling west on Northwood Dr. The vehicle was crossing into the opposite lane multiple times. Deputy Davis activated his emergency equipment and initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Northwood Dr. and High St. Upon checking the status of the driver’s license, it was found that the driver did not possess a valid license. The driver was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving without a license and released from the scene.

Report of Domestic Assault and Public Intoxication — On June 29, 2024, at approximately 2:14 a.m., Officer Adam Avalon responded to a call at 203 Mebanewood Drive. The victim reported that her fiancé, Cody Larrabee, was yelling at her and acting violently, possibly after consuming mushroom gummies. She informed Officer Avalon that Larrabee had broken a window and was outside the front door.

Victim Drowns in Motel Bathtub — A Dyer, Tennessee woman is believed to have drowned in the bathtub of the Relax Inn Motel, McKenzie, on July 10.

Stolen Trailer — On July 6, Deputy Sunny Crews-Sherwood and Deputy Mark Boaz were dispatched to a home in Hollow Rock for theft of a 16-foot enclosed trailer. The owner of the trailer, Kevin Hilliard, stated he left the trailer at the house where they were working. Inside the trailer were many tools valued at $8,000. On July 8, Mr. Hilliard called dispatch advising that the Halfway Market has it on video going down Reynoldsburg Road across Hwy 641 to Rushing Road towards Big Sandy being pulled by a silver 4-door GMC truck. On July 9 the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.

DUI, Driving on Revoked Driver License — Kennon R. Johnson, 67, of Huntingdon, was arrested and charged with DUI first offense, Driving on a Revoked or Suspended License, and Violation of Implied Consent Law on 6/22/24. Officer Justen Roberts observed a black Tahoe turn left onto Paris Street from Clark Street. By turning left onto Paris Street, the vehicle was driving the wrong way down a one-way road, so Officer Roberts initiated a traffic stop. The defendant immediately exited his vehicle and attempted to approach the officers. Roberts informed Johnson to wait by his vehicle. A check with dispatch confirmed that Johnson didn’t have a driver’s license. When Officer Roberts approached the vehicle, he could smell the odor of alcohol coming from his person and located inside the vehicle was an unopened can of Michelob Ultra and cup containing tequila in the center console cup holder. Johnson failed the field sobriety test and refused to provide a blood sample. He was then taken to Carroll County Jail.
