The Dixie 20th Season Lineup Released
From the Jul 15, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (July 14) — In what it considers one of its “most ambitious seasons ever,” the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center (DPAC) made its twentieth season announcement on social media Monday. Beginning August 30, the season features 24 events that span genres from country and doo-wop to rock ‘n’ roll and live theatre.
“This season honors The Dixie’s legacy while spotlighting bold new performances that reflect the diversity, talent and energy of today’s live entertainment scene,” said Rosemary Radford, brand manager of The Dixie.
The 2025-26 lineup features Grammy winners, Broadway stars, comedy legends, and cultural icons.
The season begins strong Saturday, August 30, with “Pop-Up: An Evening with Priscilla Presley” at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this performance went on sale July 7 via DixiePAC.net and at The Dixie’s box office.
After Grace, an Arkansas-based Christian duo, performs Saturday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Grammy-nominated country artist David Nail returns to The Dixie with new music like “Why” and fan favorites like “Red Light” Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m.
“Majesty: A Tribute to Queen” is Sunday, Saturday, September 14 at 3 p.m.
“American Idol” winner Taylor Hicks performs at The Dixie Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. as a free community event part of the Huntingdon Heritage Festival.
The eight-piece tribute band Chi-Town Transit Authority recreates the sounds of Chicago at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 3.
Emmy winner Richard Thomas (John-Boy in “The Waltons”) stars in the one-man-show “Mark Twain Tonight,” originated by Hal Holbrook, Sunday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Deana Carter, the country star behind “Strawberry Wine,” performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 10.
14-time Grammy-winners, the Dan Tyminsky Band performs hits including “Hey Brother” and “Man of Constant Sorrow” Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The Bethel University Renaissance Theatre presents Disney’s “Newsies” November 1, 7, and 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Lisa Loeb and Joan Osborne join forces Saturday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. to perform songs including “Stay (I Missed You)” and “One of Us.”
DPAC celebrates “Christmas at The Dixie” Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m., featuring local singers performing beloved holiday classics.
The Wizards of Winter, a holiday rock opera featuring members of TSO and Def Leppard, hits the Hal Holbrook stage Sunday, December 7 at 3 p.m.
The Dixie hosts “An Evening with Shawn Mullins,” known for his hit “Lullaby,” Saturday, January 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Jeff Allen brings his clean comedy to The Dixie Saturday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The Doo Wop Project, featuring Broadway stars from “Jersey Boys” and “Motown the Musical,” comes to The Dixie Saturday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Will Hoge performs songs from his newest album at 7:30 Saturday, February 28.
Saturday, March 7, brings “Beatles vs. Stones - A Musical Showdown” to The Dixie at 7:30 p.m.
The Band of Heathens, an Austin-based band, performs Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.
The Dixie hosts the Designing Women Curated Market Friday, March 20 from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Mary Dixie Carter, the daughter of Dixie Carter and step-daughter of Hal Holbrook, presents “An Evening with Mary Dixie Carter” Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. Carter will speak about her writing, family legacy and creative journey.
“Twitty & Lynn: A Salute to Conway and Loretta,” presented by the grandchildren of Twitty and Lynn, comes to The Dixie Friday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Mark Lowry & Friends, known for co-writing “Mary, Did You Know?” performs gospel and comedy Friday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The Glenn Miller Orchestra closes out The Dixie’s twentieth season with a performance of hits like “In the Mood” and “Midnight Serenade” on Saturday, June 6 at 3 p.m.
Tickets for the 2025-26 season go on sale Thursday, July 17 at 10 a.m. CT to Nineteenth Season Ticket Holders. Season tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets for individuals shows go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 21 at 10 a.m. CT.
