Local Student Attends UT Martin SOAR Event

Qumarion Patterson, a graduate of West Carroll High School, attended the July 10 Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR) event at the University of Tennessee at Martin with his mother, April Patterson of Atwood. Joining them is Captain Skyhawk, the mascot for UT Martin. SOAR provides students who have been accepted to UT Martin the opportunity to tour the campus, meet their instructors and register for fall classes.
