As each received his or her commemorative plaques, each took the opportunity to praise the people and community who supported and encouraged them. HUNTINGDON (April 26) — The $10 annual wheel tax on each motorized vehicle registered in Carroll County should end on December 31. That’s if the Carroll County 1000-Acre Lake is purchased by the State of Tennessee, said Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler. more
McKENZIE (May 1) — McKenzie Lady Rebels and Rebels 2021-22 basketball teams were feted to a banquet and honored for their unprecedented successes. Never in the history of McKenzie athletes have two teams earned state berths in the same year. Including the 2021 McKenzie Rebel football team and golf teams, it was the third and fourth team to earn state berths in the same school year. more
