UT launched the Distinguished Tennessean Scholarship in fall 2022 with the goal of awarding a tuition and mandatory fees scholarship, renewable for four years, to one outstanding student from each county across the state. more
With the Vols headed to Omaha to compete in the College World Series, my wheels got turning about professional baseball players from Tennessee. McKENZIE (December 19) — On Tuesday, both the girls’ and the boys’ basketball had solid wins against the Milan Bulldogs. The Lady Rebels whooped up on their opponent 86-33, a game in which Savannah Davis knocked down 17 three-pointers (a state record) and accumulated 60 points for the game. Davis tied the Lady Rebel individual single-game record, equaling Anna Comer’s 60 points against Hollow-Rock Bruceton in 2016. more
