McKENZIE (April 1) — Friday evening’s severe weather did not hamper Saturday’s Easter egg drop at McKenzie City Park. Thousands of children and their parents gathered at the park to partake in the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Easter Egg Drop. Members of the chamber along with vendors and volunteers from the community, McKenzie High School and Bethel University came together to make the event a resounding success. more

Kappa Sigma Golf Tournament The Kappa Sigma Golf Tournament is Saturday, April 15, at 1305 Carroll Lake Road, McKenzie. The tournament is a four-man scramble and includes free breakfast and lunch, raffles, bundles, prizes, closest to the pin and putting contests. Tee off time is 8 a.m. and the cost per team is $200.
