Allie Chappell Named Homecoming Queen

McKenzie (September 20) — Allie Chappell was selected as the 2019 Homecoming Queen during ceremonies prior to the football game Friday night.

Chappell, a junior, is the 16-year old daughter of Brad and Christie Chappell. She is a member of the Beta Club, M-Club, FCA, DECA, Teen Health Council, a Student Council representative, and Young Life. She is also a three-year member and captain of the Lady Rebel Soccer team, three-year track team member, manager for the boys and girls basketball teams, and vice president of the class of 2021. Allie was named All-District in soccer her freshman and sophomore year and advanced to the state finals in track. She is a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church youth group. Allie plans to attend a four-year university and pursue a career in education or athletics.

Other members of the Homecoming Court include seniors Molly Boucher, Momi DeLoach, Giselle Garza and Whitley Smith.

Molly is the 17-year old daughter of Trey and Gretchen Boucher. She is a member of the Beta Club, FCA, FTA, FFA, Teen Health and Young Life. She is a member of First Baptist Church. Molly plans to attend UTM and pursue a career in elementary education.

Momi is the 17-year old daughter of Blane and Sarahn DeLoach. She is a member of the Beta Club, FCA, FTA, Library Club, Spanish Club, M-Club, Treasurer of the Minority Club and Young Life. Momi is also a member of the cheerleading squad and is a SCOPE delegate. She is a member of First Baptist Church. Momi plans to attend a 4-year university and major in business marketing.

Giselle is the 17-year old daughter of Guillermina Zaragoza. She is a member of the Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Minority Club. Giselle is attending the Paris TCAT pursuing a career in cosmetology.

Whitley Smith is the 17-year old daughter of Cassie Ellis and Brian Smith. She is a member of the Beta Club, M-Club, FCA, and Young Life. Whitley is also a member of the Lady Rebel Golf and Lady Rebel basketball teams. She is active in the First Baptist Church youth group. She plans to attend UTM to pursue a career in physical therapy.
