CLARKSBURG (January 7) — Clarksburg High School hosted Huntingdon Tuesday for a pair of basketball contests. The Fillies jumped out to an early lead and coasted to a 76-29 win. The Rockets kept it close in the first half, but the Mustangs pulled away in the third quarter en route to an 82-39 victory. more

HUNTINGDON (December 17) — Huntingdon High School hosted Clarksburg Tuesday for a pair of basketball contests. The home teams swept the visitors in dominant fashion. The Fillies earned a 93-23 win while the Mustangs won 85-46. more

HUNTINGDON (December 5) — Huntingdon High School hosted Peabody Thursday for a pair of basketball contests. The Fillies rode a dominant first half to a 66-36 victory. The Mustangs led by six at the half, but the Golden Tide stormed back to claim an 81-60 win. more
HUNTINGDON (November 26) — Huntingdon High School hosted South Gibson Tuesday for a pair of basketball contests. Both games were competitive in the fourth quarter, but the visiting teams held on for wins in both. The Lady Hornets topped the Fillies 48-34, while the Hornets defeated the Mustangs 60-53. more
MILAN (November 22) — What promised to be one of the best games in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs stood true to its word. The Huntingdon Mustangs and the Milan Bulldogs took it to the wire with Milan waging a fourth quarter come from behind 28-25 win to advance to the semifinal round. more

McKENZIE (November 12) — McKenzie Middle School hosted Huntingdon Tuesday for a pair of basketball contests. The Fillies controlled the opener from the jump and ran away with a 58-12 win. The Rebels and Mustangs went back-and-forth in the nightcap, but McKenzie finished strong to claim a 33-28 victory. more
HUNTINGDON (November 15) — In the second round of TSSAA Football Playoff action, the Huntingdon Mustangs made short work of the defending 2A State Champion Riverside Panthers. After four quarters of play, the Mustangs advance to the third round with the 35-7 win. more
NASHVILLE (November 7) — Semifinalists for the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Award were announced Thursday. McKenzie senior quarterback Tate Surber and Huntingdon senior quarterback Gray Eubanks were among the five semifinalists in their respective classifications. more
HENDERSONVILLE (November 7-8) — The 2024 TSSAA State Cross Country Championships were last week at Sanders Ferry Park. McKenzie’s girls team, Huntingdon’s boys team and one individual Huntingdon girl qualified. more
HUNTINGDON (November 8) — The Huntingdon Mustangs hosted the Loretto Mustangs in the opening round of the TSSAA Football Playoffs for Class 2A. In what started as a back-and-forth nail-biter, Huntingdon found its momentum and racked up a 63-28 victory. They advance to the second round to battle the Riverside Panthers. more
NASHVILLE (November 4) — The Tennessee Sports Writers Association announced football rankings after Week 11 on Monday, with the poll presented by CoachT.com. Top 10 teams in each of the six Division I classifications and Top 5 in three Division II classes were selected by TSWA members with first-place votes in parentheses and total points based on 10 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 10th-place vote. more
