Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE (April 5) — “Carroll County is in the sweet spot” said Joe Barker, executive director of the Southwest Tennessee Development District. He was speaking of the geographic location of the county, located equal distance between the proposed Blue Oval/SK Battery assembly plant in Haywood County, Tennessee and two SK battery plants in Kentucky. In the year 2025, both plants are expected to be operating.
