JACKSON, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will have major lane closures this weekend along I-40 and the US 45 By-Pass to place steel bridge beams over the interstate. The upcoming closures are as follows:
Friday, November 9, 9:00 p.m. through Monday, November 12, 6:00 a.m.
I-40 east and westbound traffic will be detoured to the on and off ramps at Exit 80 (US 45 By-Pass). The US 45 By-Pass south and northbound at the interchange will be closed to erect steel beams for the US 45 By-Pass bridge over the interstate.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and seek alternate routes.
