Pasta & Politics Postponed
The Carroll County Republican Party regrets to inform you that the annual Pasta & Politics dinner originally scheduled for September 30 has been postponed due to illness. More information may be available at a later date.

Adult Education Classes
Huntingdon Location - Adult Education Building, 14155 Paris Street. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classes are offered for one-on-one instruction on Mondays, 1-4 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to NOON. For more information, phone 731-364-5481.

Everett’s Chapel Cemetery Association Annual Meeting
The Everett’s Chapel Cemetery Association will meet Sunday, October 1, at 2 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church for their annual meeting. The church is located at 1185 Union Church Road, McKenzie. Anyone with family members buried in the cemetery is invited to attend.

Fashion Show October 7
It’s time for Shavonya’s Third Annual Fashion Show with live entertainment, vendors, door prizes, and food trucks. Garments designed by Shavonya Porter with two special guests. The event is on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Carroll County Civic Center, 201 Mustang Drive (Fairgrounds Rd), Huntingdon, TN 38344. Vendors open at noon and the fashion show starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 admission at the door. Kids 5 and under admission is free. VFW Dance On September 30
McKenzie VFW Post 4939, Cherrywood Avenue is hosting a dance on September 30, 7 to 11 p.m. with the live band Tipsy Gypsy. The cover charge is $10. It is open to the public. For more information, call 731-352-9976.

Ruby Red Christmas Gala
Mark your calendars now for our Ruby Red Christmas Gala to be held on Saturday, December 2nd at The Venue at Waddell Place in McKenzie. We will send more info later but wanted you to know the date.

Cat Spay, Neuter Vouchers

We always have vouchers to help with getting cats spayed and neutered. The cost is $50 each and can only be used at the Paris Vet Clinic. There is no limit to how many vouchers you can purchase, no residency or income requirements and we make it easy to obtain. You can call us at 731-358-1019 and leave a message or text and someone will return your call. Purchase by phone using a credit/debit card and we will send you the voucher number. That will save you a trip to our office. We can always issue those in person with cash.

Carroll County Democratic Party Meets
The Carroll County Democratic Party meets the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.

Smalltown Cruisers Antique Car Club
The Smalltown Cruisers Antique Car Club meets the second Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Hollow Rock Fire station, 21280 Seminary Street, Hollow Rock. The monthly Cruise-Ins begin in April. For more information, contact Jan Ostiguy at 731-444-1801 or email jano1970@att.net.

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February, and July.

McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Carroll County Republican Party Meets
The Carroll County Republican Party meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the court room of the Public Safety building, 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.

Owens Family Singing
The Owens Family will be at Olive Branch Methodist Church, Sunday, October 1. A fellowship meal is at noon followed by the singing at 1:30 p.m.
