Carroll Chamber Youth Leadership Program Graduates 25

Twenty-five student leaders graduated from the Carroll County Youth Leadership Program this year. Approximately 430 total students have graduated from the Youth Leadership Carroll County program.

The program is divided into four sessions covering an enormous amount of information. Topics include personal finance, team building, demographics, recycling, personal correspondence, agriculture and more. The class visited the following Carroll County businesses: G & C Supply, C.S.I. Bethel University, McKenzie Medical Center, Associated Publishers, Granges, LifeCare of Bruceton/Hollow Rock, the Dixie, Mallard’s Restaurant, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County, Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant, Mack’s Camo Connection and participants visted with students from Bethel University’s International Studies Program.

“One aspect of Youth Leadership is to expose the students to a wide array of jobs available in Carroll County. We do this through our tours,” said Brad Hurley, president of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber has two Leadership programs. The Leadership Carroll County program is for adults. Youth Leadership Carroll County is open to high school students. More than 808 individuals have participated in the Chamber’s Leadership programs. The Chamber Leadership program began in 1990.

The 2018-2019 Youth Leadership graduates are: Holly Barker, Emily Behzad, Riley Carden, Maycee Cary, Katie Lou Chase, Julianna Cole, Morgan Cole, Payton Connell, Jack Crocker, Olivia Frazee, Carter Graves, Dawson Gremmels, Leah Hayes, Jessica Jones, Amelia McAfee, Will McBride, Jacob Mims, PJ Odom, Macey Ognibene, Sydney Segraves, Kayce Stafford, Jazmin Ventura, Macy Ward, Rebecca Winberry, and Eryka Yewell.
