CARROLL COUNTY, TENN. (January 18, 2024) - Public schools in Carroll County, Tenn., are closed on January 18 and 19, 2024, because of icy road conditions following a stormstorm on Monday, January 15.
Including the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on January 15, students will miss the entire five-day school week, January 15 to January 19. The 2023-24 school calendar has six snow days built into it. Beyond six days, the makeup days are February 19 and March 25-28.
The Carroll County School System, since it operates the bus transportation, determines the closing for all five public schools in the county.
