McKenzie Chamber to Host Easter Egg Drop

McKENZIE — McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting its third annual Easter Egg Drop at McKenzie City Park on Saturday, March 23, 9 a.m. to noon. The event is free of charge to hunt.

Approximately 50,000 plastic eggs will be dropped from a helicopter prior to the scheduled Easter egg hunt.

The event attracts children from throughout the tri-counties and beyond.

Young hunters will participate in the hunt in specific age groups and times.

Helicopter egg drop is 9 a.m.

0-2 years old — 9:30 a.m.

3-4 years old — 9:50 a.m.

5-7 years old — 10:10 a.m.

8-10 years old — 10:30 a.m.

There will be prizes, the Easter Bunny, Bouncy House, food vendors, balloon twisting, and lots of photo opportunities.

Everything is free of charge except for food vendors.
