BRUCETON — Private graveside services for Christine Mathis Wright, 95, of Bruceton were held at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. A public service will be held once the Covid-19 pandemic clears at First United Methodist Church, where she was a lifelong member and the organist for 72 years.

She was born April 29, 1924 in Bruceton to the late Robert Toy Mathis and Kate Emma Eason Mathis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neely Wright.
She leaves three daughters, Katie (Larry) Kaler of Memphis, Bethany (Bill) Kroemer of Portland, Tenn., and Melanie (Ross) Beavis of LaSalle Manitoba, Canada, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
