McKenzie Council to Discuss New Police Chief Selection

Posted
The McKenzie City Council will have a workshop Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 6 p.m. to discuss the selection of a police chief.

Immediately after the workshop, at 7:00 p.m. October 4, 2022,  the council will have a called meeting to discuss/approve the appointment of a new police chief. Both meetings are in the Council Room at McKenzie City Hall.
The city changed the meeting times after the print publication went to press. The  above times are correct and are different from the original notice in the print edition of The Banner.

Chief Craig Moates retired suddenly and Assistant Chief Ryan White, a 21-year veteran of the department, was appointed as interim chief.
